FAQs

What are your studio hours?

I work in the studio by appointment only. To schedule a consultation or appointment, please complete a contact form inquiry!

How do I book an appointment?

I direct prospective clients to complete a contact form inquiry, which can be found here on my website. Once I receive your information, I’ll determine if a more in-depth consultation is needed to discuss your ideas, and will reach out to schedule at that time.

What can I expect from a consultation?

Consultations are in-person at the studio, and generally last between 15-30 minutes. I never charge for consultations. During this time, we’ll be able to discuss your vision for the piece you’re wanting to work on. I can generally give rough estimates regarding timing and cost during a consultation. I recommend bringing any reference images for your tattoo to your scheduled consultation.

Do you require a deposit?

I do require a deposit of $100 in order to book a tattoo appointment. This deposit is non-transferrable and non-refundable, but does go towards the final cost of your tattoo. You may apply your deposit to any session, but a deposit must be on file in order to book another session.

What are your rates?

In general, I charge an hourly rate of $150. For clients interested in booking a full day (6+ hours), I charge a discounted flat rate of $800.

What types of payment do you accept?

Cash is always preferred, but we accept cards, Apple Pay and Venmo payments as well.

Should I arrive early?

Please arrive no more than 5 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time; this allows us time to prepare and complete the needed paperwork prior to beginning your session. When you do arrive at the City Studios, feel free to wait in any of the chairs in the lobby.

When will I see my design?

I do not show designs prior to the time of your scheduled appointment. During our initial consultation, I try to get as much information as possible so that I can clearly determine your vision for the piece. Reference images, both that you like and don’t like, can be helpful in conveying your ideas. I encourage clients to embrace the trust in me as an artist, and know that we can always make edits on the day of if things aren’t exactly right. The most creative freedom you can allow will be how we achieve the best result!

Where is your studio located?

Allicyn Hollis Tattooing is located at The City Studios at Highland Springs, 5000 S. Highland Springs Boulevard in Springfield, Missouri. When turning into the Highland Springs entrance from US 60 Hwy, and immediate left will bring you into the parking lot. Upon entering the building, my studio is located at the end of the hallway on the left.

Do you ever tattoo outside of the studio?

I try to plan multiple opportunities throughout the year to travel outside of the studio; I will always update my social media with information regarding upcoming conventions and guest spots. You can also sign up for my newsletter to receive email updates regarding travel plans.

Do you tattoo minors?

No; I do not tattoo anyone under the age of 18.
